116th Military Intelligence Brigade (116 MI BDE) is a United States Army Military Intelligence unit located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The brigade provides intelligence support to the Army by conducting in-depth analysis and gathering information on enemy capabilities, intentions, and activities.
116 MI BDE is composed of multiple subordinate units, including the 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion, 297th Military Intelligence Battalion, and 513th Military Intelligence Brigade (Theater) Intelligence Operations Center.
The brigade was first activated in 1967 as the 116th Military Intelligence Group and has since deployed to numerous locations worldwide, including Iraq and Afghanistan.
